Ensomhed Conifère are one of the best raw black metal bands coming out of Quebec at the moment, and they are killing it. As much as I love L'Impôt du Sang, nothing defeats Noblesse d'Épée.🖤 Favorite track: Écraser l'Infâme.

feublo Fell in love with La Mort de l’Âme first, but Nuits Blanches hits a different atmosphere with its symphonies. Riffs that I’ll have on repeat no doubt. Favorite track: Jusqu'à la Fin du Monde.

Bru-ra-hroom definitely better than their second release Favorite track: Ô Solitude.

terrariancloud Rhythmic black metal with some atmospheric feel to it, as well as some catchy riffing. Feels very akin to earlier works of Burzum, in particular, "Hvis Lyset Tar Oss" from 1994. Though different from their follow-up, "La Mort de l'Âme", I can still definitely recommend this to any black metal fan. Favorite track: Le Goût de la Mort.

JDMP if you don’t already know, these canadians are superb in every respect in the world of black metal. and to know they have produced something special with conifere is a special treat.

bmurator Canadian Black Metal split. Both from Québec & both following the tradition of superb BM from there - to the extent that they share a few band members... :) Both tracks are in French & while I can make out quite a few words, lyrics would be highly appreciated... :) I particularly love the melodies & the chimes of the first track! I shall now have to investigate Conifère because, in my ignorance, I had never heard of them... :) Highly recommended!!! Favorite track: Souvenirs Labyrinthiques.
