    Mars Hottentot thumbnail
Mars Hottentot Well, I can't stop listening to this. Despite the drama, Royal Trux have made a very Truxian LP with all the maximum skronk 'n' roll you'd desire from them with all of the killer lyrics that make them the band the future will hail as geniuses. Favorite track: Purple Audacity #1.
    Ken White thumbnail
Ken White The white stuff riff tho. Favorite track: White Stuff.

sajby Love that familiar metallic wash and those gritty vocals, and the moments they get to twirling some knobs and cross over a bit to hip hop (a la Radio Video).

anonel Comeback of the year. Great songs and real RTX-chemistry. Keep humming this for days...

    The Killer @ 2:52

'Sucks Blood' acts as a half-house transitional album that serves to bridge the gap between the folk sound and early garage rock musings of 'Master's Bedroom'. It's not quite to my taste as a whole, but there's still some good to be found; 'Iceburg' is a late-stage staple of the old folk sound, 'Golden Phones' has some lovely singing saw action, and 'Ship' and the title track give me further reason to come back here at least once in a blue moon. Favorite track: Golden Phones.

videogamer1002 there's a poison pumped up in my heart... a delicious dessert to floating coffin. Favorite track: Candy Clock.
    Xtra Happy thumbnail
Xtra Happy A short EP of leftovers from "Floating Coffin"'s sessions, Moon Sick offers the same punchy and honed garage sound Thee Oh Sees had perfected by this point in a shorter, concise package.

Crisp cymbals punctuate the punch on 'Grown In A Graveyard', 'Sewer Fire' is frantic with a grimey drone of a bass hook, 'Humans Be Swayed' is a fast mosh-y sing along between John and Brigid, and 'Candy Clock' has a wonderous, jovial, somewhat juvenile nature not too dissimilar to that heard on "Putrifiers II" Favorite track: Candy Clock.

𝕍 𝕚 𝕣 𝕘 𝕠 ♕ 𝕍 𝕒 𝕟 𝕕 𝕒 𝕝 One of my favorite EP's of all time. Quite a bit of time cycling Cherry Creek Trail in Colorado at night between Parker & Denver listening to this. Favorite track: Humans Be Swayed.

Xtra Happy Probably my favourite folk Oh Sees album aside from OCS 2...

...or Thee Hounds Of Foggy Notion...

...or OCS Live In San Francisco...

*cough* But yeah, the mix on this is gorgeous and warm whilst still having that lo-fi edge, the songs are lovely and pleasant to hum along to (despite the typical dark nature they're about). Hell, even the drone tracks are somewhat chill this time around.

Special shoutout to 'You Oughta Go Home'; gut-punch of a vibe to close things off with those jingle bells. Favorite track: Broken Stems.

OwenSheckler This is the album to take a walk in the forest to. I listened to this album while I was at a bird sanctuary, and it only made the experience more memorable. My go-to chill album. And it could even be yours as well. Best album I’ve listened to all year. 10/10. Favorite track: Gilded Cunt.
    Sasket Woodsman thumbnail
Sasket Woodsman Hard to pick a fav, they are all bangers. If you haven't seen the movie that accompanies this album, directed by Brian Lee Hughes, I highly recommend watching it. Literally one of the best representations of what the 2000s felt like, even though I was still in diapers at the time
    Heather thumbnail
Heather The perfect album for ending the day in bed with someone that you love. Favorite track: Gilded Cunt.

    Judiciary-Synthland thumbnail
Judiciary-Synthland Possibly the greatest EP of all time. Rivals literally anything that Osees have ever done.
Also, the “I am slow” demo is better than the studio recording on OCS 3
    (It’s still really good though)

10/10 Genuine perfection Favorite track: The Great Crush.
    Xtra Happy thumbnail
Xtra Happy A few leftovers from the 'Cool Deaths of Island Raiders' era makes for quite the lovely if slightly underappreciated EP that is Grave Blockers.

'The Great Crush' is absolutely one of my favourite folk Oh Sees songs period; dreamy fingerstyle that makes me want to go off-the-grid for good, build a cabin amongst the pines by a lakeshore, and retire to my porch with a view every night to watch the sunset and knock back some moonshine with a dog by my side and a dobro in my lap.

Pure bliss, man... Favorite track: The Great Crush.
