ghosttropics Like Death Kneels live sets, Remembering Well deftly straddles the line between total control and manic, unfettered release; absolute precision and strangling tension given way to brief moments of agonal surrender; the controlled experiments of the scientist given to violent tantrum, beakers and burners sent crashing to the floor in a flash of caustic chemical rage

bmurator Mexican Black / Post-Black Metal. Some very interesting & definitely cavernous vocals that feel as though they are coming from beyond the grave & create a lovely atmosphere of decadence & death! One of the tracks is even fittingly called "Decay"... :) No faves! Thanks TOR & Kunal! Recommended!
    𝕷𝖔𝖗𝖉 𝕾𝖆𝖓𝖌𝖚𝖎𝖓𝖊 thumbnail
𝕷𝖔𝖗𝖉 𝕾𝖆𝖓𝖌𝖚𝖎𝖓𝖊 That opening riff, that first scream 👌🏼

Seriously good album, don't sleep on it! Favorite track: Serpentine Echoes.
    positronicping thumbnail
positronicping Murky black metal that's claustrophobic yet expansive, with the doom and disso-DM twinges adding power to Muerto's poisonous bite. The album overall and Matamoros' vocals in particular sound like a hollow message from the heart of a yawning abyss just before it snaps shut forever. Favorite track: Burning Shadows.
    Brent Davis thumbnail
Brent Davis Positronicping is spot on!

The rawness of the vocals communicates so much here.

Highly recommended if you enjoy black metal that wanders from the (left-hand) path to somewhere else...

    🖤🤘✌️🇿🇦 Favorite track: Decay.

laliatte another CdB release that's impossible to pick a favorite track from. incredibly touching and atmospheric, and immediately one of my favorite albums in recent memory Favorite track: faint but ever so loving.
    bmurator thumbnail
bmurator Canadian Atmospheric Black Metal. A one woman, Alice Simard, project. This is utterly amazing! Just four tracks & the time goes by almost instantly! Plus that first track is simply divine! The subtle agression & beautiful melodies complement each other perfectly! FFO Trhä (even better!) & some of the work by Victoria C. H. (Careus & others). Highly recommended!!! Favorite track: faint but ever so loving.
    acaDamien thumbnail
acaDamien Absolutely incredible and very moving. Whenever there is a new release on this particular project I find myself racing for my wallet and I cannot wait to hear it. Favorite track: faint but ever so loving.
