    Heddbuzz (I.R. Puffinstuff) thumbnail
Heddbuzz (I.R. Puffinstuff) Was supposed to see the Omaha gig in March but...yeah. Chanting & praying the rescheduled October show happens. In the meantime - cassette (and vinyl) discography complete.
    Patric Ledford/Launchie thumbnail
Patric Ledford/Launchie I've been jamming this record quite a lot. I passed this one up when it came out('09). There was no bandcamp back then. This is a very subtle record. The heavy parts are heavy. But the quiet parts are quiet. The balance works here. I can't think of another band who does this as good, or as solid. I don't have a favorite track because I like the whole record.

    Dave Aftandilian thumbnail
Dave Aftandilian There is something really compelling about this album. Somehow it takes the well-worn tropes of stoner doom, sludge, and Hawkwind-inspired space rock, runs them through a psychedelic blender, and comes up with something new and mind-expanding. Imagine your brain as a starship set to explore the innerverse, liftoff to be achieved when the pounding drone threshold exceeds the limits of ordinary consciousness….

David McLane echoing from the abyss and resounding through the galaxies, zoroaster's sludge rumbles the thrones of lost gods. our friend brent hinds provides some snarling guest vocals and face melting riffage. nice to see a gargantuan like zoroaster joining bc's forces. Favorite track: White Dwarf.
