rvss.eel I had forgotten that Bolt Thrower were doing their thing pre-90s! This shows glimmerings of their unique take on the genre that has become recognizable and perfected, but it's still rough and a bit sloppy (in a good, youthful, this is still the 80s after all kind of way). This has the slow, super heavyweight riffs, like World Eater is so famous for, but a lot of speed as well, and I especially love the soloing, the wah!-wah!-whoa!-wah!-wah!-whoa! sounds that pierce with freneticism throughout. Favorite track: World Eater.
