thas2s This album is so concise - something I think Boris otherwise struggles with. the length is perfect and the individual tracks fuck so hard dude Favorite track: Ibitsu.

Michael D Overall, "L'Œuvre Au Noir" is a complex masterclass of different and connected parts, in which some describe it as Solar Doom. The songs are mesmerizing and memorable, and the lyrics are thought-provoking. If you're a fan of Brüle, or even if you're new to their music, I highly recommend checking out "L'Œuvre Au Noir” to explore the occult side of your soul.

  1. Clearing The Path To Ascend
    by YOB
    supported by
    Grimmrobe thumbnail
Grimmrobe As with all Yob releases, Clearing is a visceral, epic, and inconceivably heavy monolith of sound. Favorite track: Marrow.
    bmurator thumbnail
bmurator US Stoner / Doom Metal. This is quite angry & even furious in places in fact - all meant in the best way... :) The vocals are truly memorable on this album (also my only Yob album so far but that will soon change!). The last track is for me the most unique! It is incredibly meditative & deep imho... :) Always keeping you guessing as to where it will go next! Those lyrics:

    Restless souls...
    Needing to feel
    Something true!

Wow! That resonates very deeply indeed! Highly recommended!!! Favorite track: Marrow.
    Spinning the Deep thumbnail
Spinning the Deep For me the album “Clearing the Path to Ascend” is simply THE doom metal album ever and also programmatically highly interesting, because it contains a number of thoughts I share.
Marrow is really a very, very beautiful track and it's all the more beautiful because it's dovetailed with "Unmask the Spectre" and the other two great songs.
Truly a masterpiece! Favorite track: Marrow.
