  2. The Shape of Everything
    by SOM
    supported by
    cuzn ed thumbnail
cuzn ed I first became aware of SOM in March, a couple weeks before the release of Let the Light In. I bought that CD at the gig, and fanboy-chatted a bit with Mike and Will.

I've since grabbed all of their releases here (as well as those of Constants... and Living Phantoms).
I'm really digging the BIG "doom-pop" noise they make.

Thank goodness they were opening for Earthside, or i might still be in the dark!

Favorite track: Animals. Or Wrong... Favorite track: Animals.
    Goaliebob thumbnail
Goaliebob Rolling melodic post rock, every song well composed and executed musically Favorite track: Son of Winter.
    Łabandzi Śpiew thumbnail
Łabandzi Śpiew "The band's sound, already baptized as "doom pop", creates a post-metal, heavy-guitar-oriented atmosphere with delicate, dreamy vocals sitting on top. In this case, they very much remind me of Holy Fawn and this is a huge compliment", more: labandzi.blogspot.com/2022/01/som-shape-of-everything-2022.html Favorite track: Son of Winter.
