Luke reMEMORI is the new emo project of High Sunn's Justin Cheromiah, taking an extended break in Japan and tapping into the thriving emo/indie scene there. I found this project through Suichu Spica drummer Shiori Ishikawa, which is a huge endorsement. This band shows every bit of the sparkle of the previous incarnation with the full bore of the midwestern, mathrock vibe that Japan does batter than anywhere on earth right now. Favorite track: 走る.
