Gokiburi Paradise Lost have weaved together aspects of all of the band's creative and sonic eras to create an album that is definitively "Paradise Lost". It's a pity they've already done the self-titled album thing, because this album would be perfect for it. Favorite track: Salvation.

PG van der Ploeg Awesome songwriting and a perfect balance between melody and brutality — both in the vocals and the overall sound. Ascension is Paradise Lost at their sharpest, and honestly the best they’ve released to this day. Favorite track: Silence Like The Grave.

Night This album is in my opinion, one the best Heretoir has released yet. "The Ashen Falls" and "Solastalgia" are my favourite songs of the album. They speak to me on a deep, spiritual level and they convey my exact thoughts on the current state of the world in musical form.

As always, thank you Heretoir for your amazing music. Your songs provide comfort and help me through my depression and suicidal thoughts, and I'm sure the same can be said for many others too

Klepthor the Escape Artist Desolate & dystopian sci fi metal, lovely. Favorite track: Vanta Ray.

Drew Music The two best moves Draconian ever made were recording 2 albums with Heike, and then letting her go, positioning her to focus on her own projects - which far outshine even her excellent performance with aforementioned band.
Here, the best parts of Light Field Reverie have been refined and turned spaceward, the end result being a doomy, dark rock-y gem with its own distinct and glorious vibe. Highly recommended, and bonus points for the wild Sgàile sighting! Favorite track: Vanta Ray.

Shayne Dey Bought for the Mick Moss contribution, became an instant fan of the band. Hopefully they jump across the ditch and tour Oz. Favorite track: Algol.

JC You're all going to hate me for saying this but Aaron Stainthorpe AND Heike Langhans? - This is actually a better My Dying Bride album than real My Dying Bride albums. Absolutely CRIMINAL this isn't an LP release, would instantly buy the record. Also, "Delebit Oblivio" is an amazing song. Favorite track: Delebit Oblivio (Bonus Track).

gordonm69 Wow what a beautiful, haunting masterpiece between evil and angel. Heike's vocals are brilliant as always and the growling is on point. Amazing recording, tons of atmosphere and emotion, just perfect!! Bravo - keep it up! Favorite track: At the End of Our Eclipse.

Brett (Lascaille's Shroud / Soulmass) Looming melodic doom, filled with all the melancholy and grandiose you'd expect from the genre. A surprise favorite of the year, and an exemplary representation of the genre. Favorite track: At the End of Our Eclipse.

Hannu Kujanen Massive album with tons of emotions,feelings! Favorite track: Chain Me.

Wez Barber The flutes with those growls. Loving just drowning in this. Favorite track: Unanswered.
