Favorite track: Yor Zarad.

Summer Angine de Poitrine, brings new fun and life into prog rock in both presentation and sound. I think if you like Cassiopeia you'll like them. Alternatively if you're transgender you will probably like them as well. Favorite track: Ababa Hotel.

sassychicken17 This album breaks my brain in the best of ways. From the innovative microtonal sounds to the time signature shifts, my mind and body are fully engaged with every track. Bandcamp has the audacity to force me to choose exactly one favorite song, but they are all great tracks! Favorite track: Ababa Hotel.

Wisdoms End Sometimes there is the need for Melodic Death Metal. In this case with Nephylim (without the fields) and it just hit the spots. It baffles me sometimes that this genre is just so... consistent?!
Also I still root for cover art.

I stop punning now... Favorite track: Amaranth.
    H.L. thumbnail
H.L. If I didn't know that NEPHYLIM were from the Netherlands, I would have placed their melodic death metal in Finland, as it's characterized by a similar heaviness and melancholy. This blend is also evident in the vocals, where deep growls and occasional clean vocals complement each other well. Recommended tracks: "Amaranth" and the title track "Circuition". Favorite track: Amaranth.
    tranqullityindarkness thumbnail
tranqullityindarkness Is a great example of what I mean for Melodic Death Metal. Favorite track: Withered.

Dustin Wall Obviously any Thinking Plague fans will flock to this, but wow this really should be heard by everyone. Mike has really done something special here and the orchestral elements and guest players only elevate the music. It's a really fun and dynamic record. Favorite track: The Lords Of Creation.
    José Luis Velasco thumbnail
José Luis Velasco Mike Johnson is one of my favorite composers, and this album captures everything I love about his work. Meticulously crafted, it’s rich in texture and dynamics, featuring his signature unconventional melodies alongside orchestral elements that deepen the timbral palette. The pieces feel closer to contemporary classical compositions than traditional rock songs, yet they still achieve that seamless blend of both worlds he does so well. It will very likely be one of my favorite albums of 2026. Favorite track: Boys With Toys.
