    dertscherno thumbnail
dertscherno Album of the century!!! What a groundbreakingly brilliant release! I've been following the band since their debut and always thought: Pure Noise Records would be THE perfect label for these exceptional artists. After the unique ‘Spanish Love Songs’, FINALLY music again that strikes this remarkably profound chord. On permanent rotation & only hits without exception. I am extremely moved and enthusiastic. Highly recommended FFO (older) SLS & (younger) The Wonder Years. 11 out of 10 stars Favorite track: Fatal Flaw.

cowcowmoo This record has such amazing balance. Beautiful melodies without overdoing it, melancholy intertwines with every aspect without being too front and centre, anguish and hopelessness piercing through neither too subtle nor too obvious. Everything feels "just right" and it really resonates with me for all the right reasons. This is the record so many bands try too hard to aim for yet, to Silver Knife, it just seems natural. Thank you for this beautifully haunting album! Favorite track: Restless Blight.
    West Maddox thumbnail
West Maddox Since the debut came out 5 years ago, I have been checking for a new Silver Knife full length every couple months. The guitar tones and riffs that this band produces have an addictive quality that leaves me itching for more. I am so glad they didn't change the tone, it is so perfect. 10/10 album as I always expected was coming with their sophomore release! A fantastic continuation of the first album's sound!

The Questionable Question The 2025 release 'Where Celestial Bodies Guide Not' is Voluptas' most mature album to date. It not only expands on earlier concepts, but merges them into a complex array of sounds and atmospheres.

DameFantome Heavy and elegant, deeply resonant and expressive in the gothic spirit of opening oneself to all that humanity's pain has to share. Favorite track: A Wound Unhealing.
    gwcon2006 thumbnail
gwcon2006 Great album. This album feels a little less Heavy than the debut. However, it gives this album an identity rather than just being "release #2". Thanks for the METAL Tribunal.
    NFHvc Appalachia thumbnail
NFHvc Appalachia Yes. Darken my skies, enliven this soul. Yes. Favorite track: Armoured in Shadow.
