t0cktock I spent my New Year's hangover listening to "Sky Mall" on repeat, when I discovered my new favorite bass player. "Fugue State" is what you get if the Muscle Shoals musicians took a break to noodle around on Bach and eventually became my wake-up alarm. "First Place" reminds me of that scene in "Clerks" where Randal walks into the "good" adult video store. Favorite track: Sky Mall.

nathan_ginese Every track on this album goes hard. 10/10 recommend it Favorite track: Sky Mall.

musicandmyth The funk is strong with this one. It's so analog, granulated, and crisp it makes you feel like a vintage tape machine. Favorite track: Sky Mall.

Hermes Love the songs on this album, Dean Town will always be an inspiration to me. :) (Don't know why I can't select it for favorite track)
    Favorite track: Animal Spirits.

t0cktock The home of the funky and low volume staples that still thrive in their live shows as of this writing.
Favorite track: 1 for 1, DiMaggio.

zesnake Needed this immediately it's so good!! Favorite track: Dr Hypenstein.
    Peter Jones thumbnail
Peter Jones Top class music - the jazz roots are still clear but the funk lies thick here... watch out for the heavy rock, though! ;) The title track is a great opener and it's followed by a heavily mixed phat funk number. There are couple I'm not so keen on - the band covers a wide set of styles - with Bassbulator being the low point (not just in pitch). Bassface works much better - I like the more natural feel. The two closing tracks are close to favourites, too. Lots to like, whatever funks you. Favorite track: Swagger.
    Ben Plunkett thumbnail
Ben Plunkett it's basically bad ass! as bad ass as they come. Favorite track: Dr Hypenstein.

Sheepadoodling Another amazing set of tracks by Chillsynth artists, but with the 1AM vinyls being delayed I don't have much hope that the vinyl for this will be delivered anytime soon. What is going on? Ended up having to buy the digital version just to listen to these tracks. Favorite track: Downtown Binary - Icarus.
