Underground punk bands always come with a healthy dose of raw energy, yet few manage to do that without sacrificing musicality and sensitivity to some degree.
This obscure japanese ensemble, however, certainly succeeded in binding those apparently opposed poles, and the results are nothing short of magnificent. Perhaps it's the unusual instrument selection, along with the playful, intense voice of Non, singing these songs that feel so improvised but carefully arranged at the same time. A must!
Favorite track: Duncan Dancin'.
