Embalming is filled with filthy death metal, the likes of which you've all heard before, but just like the cute three-eyed creature on the cover, gorgeous melodic passages rise gloriously from the otherwise rotting riffs. But is it too melodic, or upbeat even? Do melodic clean vocals unwelcomely join in? No. Don't worry. No. The balance Heteropsy have struck here is impeccable. Favorite track: Memento Mori.
