bmurator Mexican Black / Post-Black Metal. Some very interesting & definitely cavernous vocals that feel as though they are coming from beyond the grave & create a lovely atmosphere of decadence & death! One of the tracks is even fittingly called "Decay"... :) No faves! Thanks TOR & Kunal! Recommended!

Seriously good album, don't sleep on it! Favorite track: Serpentine Echoes.

positronicping Murky black metal that's claustrophobic yet expansive, with the doom and disso-DM twinges adding power to Muerto's poisonous bite. The album overall and Matamoros' vocals in particular sound like a hollow message from the heart of a yawning abyss just before it snaps shut forever. Favorite track: Burning Shadows.

Brent Davis Positronicping is spot on!

The rawness of the vocals communicates so much here.

Highly recommended if you enjoy black metal that wanders from the (left-hand) path to somewhere else...

laliatte This is so satisfyingly and seamlessly varied and feels like being carried along, floating, through a dream (and intermittent nightmares).

Probably my favorite album of 2025 -- hard to pick a favorite song, but the title track is great at showcasing most of the album's range. Other favorites are Saran Wrapped Cash, LADIES' NIGHT, bedrot, and I Have a Key to Your House. Favorite track: CAMGIRL.

localgobby_ CAMGIRL is a fucking masterpiece. Couldn't be happier to be a bostonian rn. Favorite track: CAMGIRL.

Chuck Nugget My album of the year for 2025. Perfectly captures the melancholy of this (gestures broadly at everything). Favorite track: bedrot.

tiernan ^▿^ Mixing the anger of punk and the raw energy of black metal just creates something that's pure in-your-face aggression, and I love it. The riffs are just perfect. Awesome album all round!

acaDamien Blackened punk with so much anger and venom behind its bite. Love this release so much. Killer riffs, awesome vocals, and just all-around blistering music. Favorite track: Floresta Hostil.

Urso X There’s definitely an undertone of misery colouring this record “like wine through water” compared to their previous effort, yet it does little to dilute the viciousness and venom. Another excellent release! Favorite track: Floresta Hostil.

Murphrygian The name kept me away for a long time. Damn, I love the music, it is top notch. I just won't be telling my wife about it, lest she think we are arguing...

Stereotypical Entertainment This "band" never sent me my vinyl it's been over six months with no contact or refund, save your money.
