Yimmy Kil This was the first album I really loved by DBTs. I’ve listened to them since SRO and all are classic in their own right. However this one with Spooner Oldham on the pedal steel just hypnotized me. I love that it has so many tracks and Cooley has so many great ones. I feel this album along with Go Go Boots and English Oceans are their best three. I’m in the minority there I’m sure. But for me nothing beats these three start to finish. Favorite track: Self Destructive Zones.
