mbx220 Great album/EP, it may be an EP but it's as long as a short album which I appreciate. I love that it's a bit heavier and more guitar oriented in a shoegazey and metal kind of direction and the buildups are much more direct. Good stuff, love it. Every track is great from front to back. Favorite track: Signal Tree.

These Post-Rockers from Ohio are one of the Prized Artists of the entire Genre.
Despite their recent hiatus & lack of New material...
signs on the horizon point to the Hope that ITTCT might soon return from hibernation.....
Here's Wishing that happens soon enough.
This GEM of a Band has been missing from my life for too long now.
This 1st EP only hinted at the Glory that was to come from their full LPs. Favorite track: Signal Tree.

    Sælzer Bub thumbnail
Sælzer Bub Another masterpiece from one of my favorite bands. These guys are getting better and better. Scatterling Empire is darker and heavier than the previous albums. I love this one!
    Favorite track: Haven.
    frankwurst thumbnail
frankwurst mature album, carefully forged by a band that has followed a flawless evolutionary path. Compared to the two previous opuses, Scattering Empire features clearer instruments and vocals, sharper melodies, and a more progressive touch, resulting in a smoother yet darker texture.
There is nothing "less" in this album. Favorite track: Haven.
    FDJ (Desert Psychlist) thumbnail
FDJ (Desert Psychlist) These guys are evolving at an alarming rate, every release sees them finding new ways to blow our minds and this one is their most mind-blowing to date. Favorite track: Wytch.

    by PSYCHONAUT
    supported by
    David Fischer thumbnail
David Fischer It took me forever to finally get to World Maker, and I instantly wish I could travel back in time to listen to this sooner. From the first to the last note, this album is beyond brilliance and would've definitely made my Top 10 list of 2025. It transcends music, emanating an intense presence. Music to erect your inner, spiritual shrine to and bathe in the glory of the goddess of the dawn (whatever that means). The soundtrack of a celestial, golden, glowing sphere illuminating the sky. Grand! Favorite track: All In Time.
    my_shadow thumbnail
my_shadow I am not musically inclined to explain technical things like time signatures, etc. I’m sure there are aspects of this bands talent that I could never do justice, especially in 500 words. All I know is, the album World Maker is amazing! It’s a masterful piece of music that combines mood with power. Restraint with intensity. As soon as I heard “You Are The Sky”, I was immediately hooked! An all-time favorite for me.

Give this record/band a listen. You won’t be disappointed!! Thanks Psychonaut!
Favorite track: You Are The Sky....
    Ippocalyptica thumbnail
Ippocalyptica It has taken me years to appreciate Psychonaut’s approach to progressive metal, which is equal parts post-metal and psychedelic, but now, as I have come to realise, they are a lot more distinct-sounding and coherent than several of their contemporaries. I do see some similarities to The Ocean (which is probably why I finally like Psychonaut), but the music here is less busy, less aggressive, and a bit warmer. World Maker sadly features one bad song, but the rest are total fire! Powerful stuff. Favorite track: You Are The Sky....

    JoelTheDoubleV thumbnail
JoelTheDoubleV This is for me the best metal album of 2024, and I'd even venture to say one of the best of the decade. First, there was a feeling of awe at the immense complexity of their music, while simultaneously processing all the emotions evoked by such a tremendous work. This is much more than technical skill and instrumental prowess; it's pure feeling and emotion and pierces the soul every time. These guys managed to create a unique musical language that places them in a world inhabited solely by them. Favorite track: Further Opening the Wounds.
    adam thumbnail

Admittedly Ulcerate's music projects a very specific flavour - and omits countless others - focusing on perfecting the marrow of their dramaturgical message towards humanity... Nonetheless, in my opinion: Cutting the Throat of God should be thoroughly studied by future Music & Art Historians, and let's not exaggerate by comparing or analyzing - however - I believe that some of you can instinctively sense it.. Ulcerate have reached an unforeseen peak.. haven't they? Favorite track: Further Opening the Wounds.
