    Ghuughra thumbnail
Ghuughra 'Epic' is the right superlative for this one. Been jamming Iron Plains on repeat for like fifteen minutes now.

Bring me my V-10 chariot, slave! I wish to crush the spines of the innocent whilst burning an astronomically-wasteful amount of Diesel fuel! Favorite track: Iron Plains.
    dinamichelle thumbnail
dinamichelle All hail the mighty Megaton Sword!
    frankwurst thumbnail
frankwurst Megaton Sword has all what you would like to hear from the genre: powerful yet also subtle riffs and rhythms, skilled musicianship, polished (sometimes weird) lyrics, good production - and a unique voice. The later is definitely Megaton's most appealing point, between Ozzy or Dickinson, even Malcolm Young.
Labeled power metal, they bloom into their own crossover of styles of epicness and emotions. Fantastic trip to a unique epical world of sound. Favorite track: Power.

    frankwurst thumbnail
frankwurst Amazing classic album, built on crazy metal Weltanschauung of blood and gore, and with the oddest ode to beer, sustained by killer riffs and that exceptional voice. Favorite track: Born Beneath the Sword.

frankwurst First album ? Very hard to believe, but listen to their M&P, and you will understand understand why this is a just a "starter". Favorite track: The Giver's Embrace.
    T.K.S. thumbnail
T.K.S. You know it’s a good album when your favorite song changes every few days. “Might & Power” is still growing on me, but this debut album has already secured a place among my favorite contemporary heavy metal albums. Favorite track: In the Black of Night.

    Bronan The Duderian thumbnail
Bronan The Duderian Killer release. Dark, murky, and menacing. Not necessarily reinventing death/doom-wheel, but making sure that this death/doom-wheel can roll over and bulldoze anyone standing on its way. Favorite track: The Stars Spelled Death.

Ten Demons Extreme black death. Personally it excites me in a demonic manner.
    David Fischer thumbnail
David Fischer First of all, what you see is what you get. Nereidean Seismic End is just as grimy, murky and sinister as you would expect from its minimalistic, great cover artwork (which was the reason I bought it). This is darkness incarnate; drowning at the bottom of the sea made manifest - and that is good. That said, there is little (not none) variety on display - apart from the last track - and the songs blend into another quite heavily. If this is what you like, do not hesitate. Pitch black metal. Favorite track: The Morning Carried a Feeble Sun, a Solitary Sphere of Embers.
