  1. A Song For You
    by Søren Bebe Trio
    supported by
    Rob O. thumbnail
Rob O. My wonderful sister-in-law, who is a classically trained pianist, turned me on to Soren's music. This trio eloquently invokes an emotion that puts you in a good place. Soren's playing is front and center and his delivery is beautifully executed. I am delighted to have been exposed to a master pianist at the top of his game. Very well done! Looking forward to the CD. Favorite track: Country Road.
    Darin Wilson thumbnail
Darin Wilson What an album: it goes from lyrical and gentle to soulful and gritty and everything in between - all of it is exquisitely played. I especially appreciate the spaciousness of Søren's playing. Every note has depth and feeling behind it - no noodly meandering here! Favorite track: Country Road.

  2. Echoes
    by Søren Bebe Trio

Rob O. Soren is the master of silence. There is a beauty, eloquence and sophistication with this style of sparse playing that takes discipline to hold back, especially in this fast pace society. There's a sprinkling of piano, the bass subtly sneaks in and the brushes and cymbals find space. The notes linger and there's silence in between. Like fine wine the music breathes and it's almost a meditative experience. Just lovely!

woodypatof Great album! Very moving and delicate music. Even those not particularly into Jazz music should love this.

Excellent album! Une musique délicate et émouvante, Même ceux qui ne sont pas nécessairement des amateurs de Jazz devraient apprécier.

podarces_fan Beautiful original music that could have been edited by Manfred Eicher if it was not self-produced.

xenowarrior Every now and then I happen across an album outside of my fixation with dance music, Hall Of Mirrors is one such album. A treat. Favorite track: Circulation.
    Neil Campbell thumbnail
Neil Campbell Such beautiful music - the compositions, the sound design, the sensitive musicianship, the production. So evocative and mesmerising, charming, human, emotional - all those things. I dont like to compare artists with other artists but I would put this up on a pedestal with some of my favourite musicians in this area like Harold Budd, Biosphere and Marconi Union - it really is that good. Favorite track: Just Above it All.
    tim_the_curator thumbnail
tim_the_curator What a beautiful, fathoms-deep ambient album. Every repeat listen was rewarded with new insights noticed, new depths experienced. Took me several listens, too, to begin to understand it—at first Cowley's work here seemed shallow or opaque. It's grown on me, wonderfully, with time. I'm grateful I kept listening. Favorite track: Circulation.
    Jerry Lehr thumbnail
Jerry Lehr This reminds me of Trent Reznor's Ghosts collection. I bought the cd to stare at the cool cover and listen to in my car on drives to work. I'm definitely becoming a huge bandcamp fanatic. Awesome work!!! Favorite track: Prayer.

jaxers We turned on to Emma Jean at Monterey Jazz Fest, and she's the reason I went from 'ehhh I'm not sure I like Acid Jazz and I sure as hell don't like fusion" to "what the hell is *this awesome galactic brilliance?!* A rare talent and a damn fine slab of wax that I have on heavy rotation. I love many tracks including 'Spectre', and i wonder to myself how much it owes to Kate Bush's spectral "Watching You Without Me." Favorite track: Golden Green.
