nedhodding What do I like about this album?...EVERYTHING. Seriously I don't know why I am so obsessed but it's a daily listen currently. Maybe it won't stand the test of time but at the moment I still love it. 'The Gentle Harm' giving me some serious mogwai/post rocky guitar vibes, vocals and lyrics amazing. Just wow. Favorite track: The Gentle Harm.

John Gallup Magnificent from start to finish. NHNG is the only album I've listened to since last Friday. 'Spades' is absolutely chilling ! 🖤
    Engel8221 thumbnail
Engel8221 I randomly listened to How Will You Feel here at Bandcamp, and this track and the rest of the Album reminds me a lot of the licensed songs and soundtrack of the first Life is Strange video game, which coincidentally is set in the state of Oregon. This album reminded me also my high school years in 2009-2013, and my time I went to pursue higher education. around 2013-2019. Overall, great album it gives you that grunge, Pacific Northwest sounds scene from the early 1990's;Heavy Rock. Great album. Favorite track: How Will You Feel.

pete127 The power and energy of change—knocking the old white men off their pedestals! Great!
    tinysombrero_15 thumbnail
tinysombrero_15 This is one of my favorite albums of all time!!! I love the heaviness of Hair of Dog and Groping Dogs Gushing Blood but Chug has risen to the very top of my replay list! I think the little melodic guitar lick (?I don't know a single thing about music theory) that plays in Chug is extremely pretty. Favorite track: Chug.
    David Braime thumbnail
David Braime My favourite musical discovery since Hands Off Gretel reignited my interest in new music back in 2018. Love the energy, the lyrics, the grungey guitar, everything!

    pete127 thumbnail
pete127 This is the best album I've heard in decades. And that really goes for every song, no matter how different they are. These four girls give me hope and courage for the future—keep up the great work!
    David Oberlin thumbnail
David Oberlin Man, I wish I wrote riffs as heavy as this! \m/ <3 \m/ Favorite track: American Porn.
    t0cktock thumbnail
t0cktock The videos slowly trickled into my YouTube algorithms somehow. Then one night, I fell asleep watching something else on YouTube and woke up to their KEXP performance of "American Porn". It's been stuck in my head ever since. Die Spitz lives somewhere in the intersection of grunge, punk and metal; filthy and heavy. Favorite track: American Porn.

    Erik Salazar thumbnail
Erik Salazar I remember being bummed when I heard CM broke up. They were one of my favorite female fronted bands playing classic sounding heavy metal. Now, 10 years after their last album, not only are they back, but they still kick ass & they kick it harder than ever before! This album is riff city. You get a riff, you get a riff, everyone gets a riff! Musically, this reminds me of early Iron Maiden/Thin Lizzy fronted by Patti Smith. It’s killer! Hopefully the band sticks around for years to come! Favorite track: Mythmaker.
    Brandon Corsair thumbnail
Brandon Corsair One of the best post-80s bands in Washington reforms and finally does a killer new record! Can't go wrong with Christian Mistress and the new one rules just as much as ever- BUY IT!
    Toxic Dropkick thumbnail
Toxic Dropkick Some of the best riffing I’ve heard since Lord Mountains latest release. Right out of the gates possible AOTY material. Favorite track: Mythmaker.

bOnnIE tOcsIn / pInOcchIO gIrl thumbnail
bOnnIE tOcsIn / pInOcchIO gIrl I've always had a unique appreciation of Dilloway, particularly because of how unique his brand of noise is. I feel like the genre has become increasingly more homogenized over time, and Dilloway's material stands so uniquely that he stands as such a unique musician with such a unique style. It's not every time you see someone using tapes to make noise or make a genre such as noise sound so unique and personalized. You really can't get something like this from any other musician. Favorite track: Fourth Door.
