    YomaBarr 29/6/24
I've been waiting with buying this until I see them live, which was smart, because now that I did this twisted album sounds even better.

That was a great evening with Frightful, Clairvoyance 🖤, Cryptworm and Slimes, but you know what I missed? Blood Incantation. BI after Slimes would be such a natural course of things... 😆
    Barbon Fringant thumbnail
Barbon Fringant AOTY contender. The crème de la crème of death doom.
    Dmitry Nevozhay thumbnail
Dmitry Nevozhay Equally brilliant death-doom alter ego of UK's Cryptic Shift. So no wonder we have got atmospheric, progressive and technical OSDM with high replay value and lot of nuances. Highlight of the year. FFO: Spectral Voice, Worm, Incantation, Cruciamentum, Chthe'ilist, Threnody, Civerous, Tomb Mold, Malignant Altar Favorite track: Splayed Mudscape.

CHEF🇦🇲OYSTRHD This album reekssss…welcome to the reign of the Apex C.H.U.D. disgusted grinding grooves with some utterly devastating doomy passages. It’ll turn yer brain to bloody mashed potatoes. Favorite track: Junkyard Warfare: Celebratory Beheading.

Ming Miss seeing these guys live around LA but glad to get an album from them. Always great showmanship and creative compositions.
    tocayobill thumbnail
tocayobill Saw them at Central Avenue Jazz Festival in L.A. and I was hooked!
    THE NONSEMBLE thumbnail
THE NONSEMBLE These Kats are those KATS! We may be biased - and blessed - as the genius musicians of KATALYST [The Collective] have become close friends and consistant collaborators of THE NONSEMBLE over the years that we'watched them grow - from cool little cubs to absolute lions... well on their way to be Jazz Giants.
    .
From their formation and those early shows at L.A.'s preeminent venues [The World Stage / The Blue Whale et al] through their residency at our local [The Del Monte Speakeasy - Venice, CA]!

KillTheEyes Elle is a very special band to me. A band is not too mellow, not too harsh sound. Slam-poetry like lyrics, catchy melodic guitar parts, everything else that ties along those descriptions is all well balanced in this album! Favorite track: X.

_Dharmata_ Delightful music, the string quartet creates such a beatiful atmosphere. Much love to this record <3 Favorite track: Just Dreams.
    ardexx thumbnail
ardexx ‘Doing the best you can with the moment you have’. That’s indeed what beautiful music is all about, embedded in the flow of daily emotions we call life. You feel those emotions here, and I love it! It reminds me of the story of how The Köln concert recording by Keith Jarrett came to life. That was very close to not being played and recorded at all, but eventually resulted in something spectacular, despite the broken piano. I am grateful to have come across this album tonight. It's wonderful. Favorite track: Yellow Tie.
    EdwardShoots thumbnail
EdwardShoots Was front row at the live recording of this album, absolutely stellar performance by everyone on stage, the album just brings it all back. Favorite track: With The Rain (ft. Kaya Thomas-Dyke).

thekurtaction This albums reminds me of early Revocation. It's not necessarily the same style/sound but brings the same party energy and sense of joy to Death Metal. Puts a smile on your face! Favorite track: Brandish The Blade.
    Ghuughra thumbnail
Ghuughra Delivers on the promise they made with Sentient Autolysis, with vastly improved production to boot.

If I ever score a gig with the WWF, Brandish the Blade is gonna be my intro music, guaranteed. Favorite track: Brandish The Blade.
    Rat Bastard thumbnail
Rat Bastard The first time, I kind of casually gave this band a listen.. and they stood out immediately, tone, production.. it was all to my liking, Took a couple days of humming songs in my head before I came back and bought the Album, once again today I'm at work humming those eerie riffs in the first track, Dead from Beyond. I'm excited to receive the cassette I purchased, I'll probably end up grabbing a CD too since I just can't help myself. I'm enjoying what I'm hearing. This Album is killer! 🤯 Favorite track: Dead From Beyond.
