  1. Music for Stillness
    by Harlan Silverman
    supported by
    Joe Borreson thumbnail
Joe Borreson Earthly rooted and serenely grounding compositions that unfold like dawn. Usually called meditation music or new age. I call it nearly required on this day and age. Harlan has created a short and sweet set of songs here that bring about stillness and a quiet calm from the moment you hit play.

TheMoonHangs A keen and quiet confidence at play here across a series of short and sweet electronic excursions through liquid-like and spaced-out grooves, woozy and inviting.

Serpent Divine. I can hear Vashti Bunyan, acoustic Animal Collective, Peel Session Echo & Bunnymen, and above all, feel something larger than all of us that is absolutely beautiful. Favorite track: Messe Du Saint Esprit.
    adamdugas thumbnail
adamdugas This banger is like a cross between François Hardy, The Space Lady and Linda Perhacs. Folk, DIY indie, sweet sincerity, cool sounds. Made me want to believe. Favorite track: Messe Du Saint Esprit.

Robert Lane Beat the atmosphere created with such a minimal setup. Darkest dubbiest liquid techno? Every song works, this is art.
    Neglectsound thumbnail
Neglectsound A friend of mine came back from France years ago and had this record. I had never really heard anything like it. The use of 303s in a way that was far from acid, a different modality of hypnosis. Could never find my own copy but thankfully there is the digital. Recommended.
