tonys74 Listening to this none stop the last week or so, it almost feels like it’s from the late 60’s or 70’s I mean that in a good way.
It’s only 4 songs but it takes you on a journey that you wished lasted a lot longer.

    VIN thumbnail
VIN Yet another perfect album. DC Fontaines have nothing on these guys. Favorite track: To the New World and Back.
    Dave Kavanagh thumbnail
Dave Kavanagh Anyone familiar with the band's previous work will love this new one. The usual blend of ascorbic wit, gritty settings and well observed characters all wrapped up in sometimes solemn and sometimes jagged post punk and uniquely Irish alt rock. In a word- brilliant.

    Dietmar Leibecke thumbnail
Dietmar Leibecke On a crisp, sunlit morning, waiting for my bus, Mick Flannery & Susan O’Neill’s ‘Are We Free’ swept through my headphones, sent shivers down my spine, and made me wish the bus would never come. ‘In the Game (live)’ is pure, breathtaking magic. Favorite track: Are We Free?.
    murfmensch thumbnail
murfmensch Perfectly put together. Beautiful lyrics and voices. So much conviction that you often see people hoping that they can stay together. You also see people envying their passion. They are in fact just very talented artists.

You got the best of Ireland and Nashville right here. Give it a go.

Mount_Mourn Mark left us one last masterpiece. Favorite track: Chaos of the Universe.
    Michael Reilly thumbnail
Michael Reilly There are several fine tracks on this posthumous collection; really nice to hear them after so many years. Mark's signature sounds, and words, all feature in both sad and uplifting ways, and the album's production is rather good. Gone too soon, but always remembered. Favorite track: Chaos of the Universe.
    Yer Mom thumbnail
Yer Mom I remember sitting at a table with Vic at The 40 Watt, watching Sparklehorse. Then trying to talk Vic into going to Ashville to The Grey Eagle, where I filmed the show after getting permission. I gave the tape to Charles to transfer and he put it on YouTube years later. I really miss you guys. It's great to hear your voice again. I really, really miss you and Vic. I finally stopped crying every Christmas back in 2019. I wish my daughter could've seen you both play. She turns 14 this year. 💔 ✌❤ Favorite track: The Scull of Lucia.

    H Brennon Holmes thumbnail
H Brennon Holmes I listened to this today, a lot. Can't pick a favorite song. I love every song on this album equally. Can't remember the last time that happened. Not sure about the post-punk tag though. All I hear is punk. Fucking great punk. I know there's a feminist core, but yeah, it was good for me.

    Danny O`Hanlon thumbnail
Danny O`Hanlon My favourite album of whatever year it came out. If Wyld Stallyns were a real band who wrote a real song that aligned the planets and brought about world peace, it would sound like Prism. Favorite track: Prism.
