For over 30 years Greg Dulli continues to fascinate me with his 'film noir' lyrics about love, hate, despair, self-loathing, introspection addiction, sex, toxic relationships, and redemption. Uptown Avondale is the band's homage to soul, jazz, and blues music that's reflective of the band's said influences with a modern, dark twist that's signature Afghan Whigs. A must have for us hardcores! Favorite track: Rebirth of the Cool.
