  1. ANGER SICK
    by BACKHAND
    supported by
    ed_blackadder thumbnail
ed_blackadder The section about the word "sorry" in Nothing Ever Changes gives me chills. Makes virtually all other punk "anger" sound like childish whining. Full-length next please! Favorite track: NOTHING EVER CHANGES.
    Matt Kassay thumbnail
Matt Kassay Just as the Indigenous Australian Flag should be our only National flag, NOTHING EVER CHANGES by BACKHAND should be officially adopted as the Australian National Anthem. It perfectly sums up what has happened (and sadly continues to happen) to the original inhabitants of this country since white colonisation. Favorite track: NOTHING EVER CHANGES.
    sundown79 thumbnail
sundown79 Anger Sick has totally blown away the brilliant Backhand demo tape, Seriously, how are you meant to pick a favourite song? every song is epic in its own way, a blast of anger reminding us how much the system and oppressors are shite cunts.

Got this when it was released, listened to it every day on repeat when walking the dog, still loving every chord, riff, and ounce of anger, and can't find a single fault with it.

cheers to everyone involved in Anger Sick

    Bring on the album...........

jentzilla One of the best albums I've ever discovered. masterpiece. Favorite track: Dreamless Nights No Longer.
    Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) thumbnail
Favorite track: Burdened.

    by ESCHATON

    metal_mushroom_head thumbnail
metal_mushroom_head Chris Muenzner is a fucking tech death monster. And this is undoubtedly one of his best works. Favorite track: The Sufferer's Dichotomy.
    doive thumbnail
doive Hectic tech death metal in the vein of Brain Drill, the compositions and recording qualities are of surgical precision with complex tricks and heroic tapping and solo. Plenty of gravity blasting and great rhythmics overall and as for the vocals, it ranges from high pitched screams to more guttural growls and even some clean singing at times. Eschaton is a band I'll be looking forward to hearing more about, it is a supergroup whose line-up made resulting mastery downright predictable.
    Daniel Pearson thumbnail
Daniel Pearson A perfect Tech Death album. Oh gosh, it's perfect. Favorite track: The Sufferer's Dichotomy.

electricpuppettheatre They really break out the fancy fingers on this one. Duchess is not one of my top Primus songs, but the live version here is wicked good. It's also a good pick for this EP: the whole thing has a heaviness that reminds me of Brain era Primus. Favorite track: The Ol' Grizz.
    Moses D. thumbnail
Moses D. Primus is the reason I picked up a bass in the first place. New Primus gives me an irreplacable joy. I had a band named Grisvvold at one point, so the first tune speaks straight to me.

    Great grooves as always.

    Cheers,
    -Moses D.
