Benjamin Burnes
I can't believe that I've been listening to Jim's Big Ego for over a decade. Their unique brand of "un-pop" has gotten a bit more political and messaged in the past few years, though it really doesn't bother me as much as it does with other bands. They continue to surprise me with their evolution as artists. Who would have thought that a band with a 10-minute song called "Porno Plot" could craft masterpieces like "Another Thousand Years" and "Habits & Plans".
Favorite track: Habits & Plans.
