Shmozo if anyone ever wants to argue that sampling and audio editing isn't an art form they need to listen to this album. madlib's unrivaled musicianship on the sampler creates an alternate dimension where the listener is the figure with the boombox and lord quas is behind the wheel. just so wildly creative and deep. a landmark achievement.

skyturtles This album sounds like moving from southern Norway to the States. It is raw emotion, bittersweet and bleeding. I love the metaphors and the drawing of the strings across my heartstrings. Favorite track: Sierra.

WUBAT saw these guys open for Brand New in Saskatoon and they were incredible. Favorite track: Staying Alive.

A. Rogers Raw with some songs verging on violent in their passions. With piercing drums and punishing strings behind 'Art is Hard' among other tracks, the music still barely keeps up with the take-no-prisoners vocals and lyrics on every single song. A brutal masterpiece. Favorite track: Art is Hard.
