archive94 my cat of 12 years died recently, and i knew to come here and just listen. this album is such a ride of emotions from grief to acceptance that it's soul-lifting sometimes. the way the chords go, and the melodies, it feels like a true amount of nostalgia. the mixing could be better, sure, but other than that, this is amazing. feels like nothing compares. Favorite track: At Peace in My Shirt.

mbx220 Dropping this 28 years to the day after release. A cornerstone classic indie rock album, there's nothing quite like Modest Mouse out there and this album captures their earlier vibe perfectly. I hope that we get a 30 year anniversary edition.
