    RJ thumbnail
RJ I have been an avid fan of NeO since ‘Portal of I’ was released in 2012. Not only is it my favorite album of theirs but one of my favorite albums of all time. Words cannot fully describe the masterful musicianship of this album and if they could it certainly would take more than the 500 character Bandcamp allotment. This album truly is as perfect as something can be. 10/10 Favorite track: Of Petrichor Weaves Black Noise.

    Poesy Rider thumbnail
Favorite track: Lava from the Sky.
    danielkrause thumbnail
danielkrause What a brilliant album. From its serene melodies, warm singing, and ethereal soundscapes to brutal angular riffing, extreme breakdowns, and shrill screams, this album is sure to please many who love progressive and experimental extreme metal. Favorite track: The Dreamer and his Dream.

    Elased thumbnail
Elased Never before has metal been so baroque! The sheer joy of playing is so infectious that it completely sweeps every listener away. Listening to this music is a truly special treat.

gebs This album is near perfection -- melodic exuberance, tremendous stylistic diversity, and a bottomless font of sheer, unapologetic fun. I will spin and remember this one forever. Favorite track: The Apathy of Kings.
    Alienmold thumbnail

  5. Act III: This City Made Us
    by The Protomen
    supported by
    ButchAmy thumbnail
ButchAmy I feel very much like I want to crawl into Act 3 and curl up and stay there. Not because it's cozy and warm but because it's like a hole under a bridge while it's freezing rain and storming outside. It's cold and hard but it's dry and the pain is familiar. (This is a positive btw) Favorite track: Buried In The Red.
    theyca11megman thumbnail
theyca11megman 16 years of waiting all lead to this incredible banger in an album of bangers. Favorite track: No Way Back.
    jlangel thumbnail
jlangel A sweeping celebration of 80's vocal excess; lyrical narratives as dramatic as any theatrical; and crushing instrumentation. What more could you ask for? Bought this album sight unseen on a recommendation, and I was brought under The Protomen's sway instantly. Favorite track: Calling Out.

    soulsatzero thumbnail
soulsatzero What an absolute masterpiece of melancholic death/doom! One of Draconian's best releases so far, and a strong contender for AOTY! Stunning performances by all musicians involved, especially Lisa and Anders, combined with a perfect, crystal clear, yet very organic production. Very difficult indeed to pick a favourite track since all of them are great. And now I am going to hit the 'repeat' button ... again. Favorite track: Misanthrope River.
    MormegilGurthang thumbnail

Jack of Shadows tried very hard to buy this album on recommendation of a person whose musical taste is impeccable. Watched in dismay as the CD numbers counted down to zero. Stiil not all is lost as I did buy the digital download copy. I have been very impressed.

I now have a physical copy of he CD. Hoorah!
    annapolis-sunrise thumbnail
annapolis-sunrise Magnifique premier album. J'adore et j'espère vous voir en concert dans un futur pas trop éloigné.
    drjohnnm thumbnail
drjohnnm I love prog rock and this album is the best new prog rock I have heard in a long time. Up there with EBB and Ghost of the Machine. This is also music with a focus on environmental justice. All the tracks are great, but Life and Coexistence Part 1 are my favorites.

    Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) thumbnail
Magistral ! Favorite track: Savior Solitude.
