Simon James Tom Day's music is the kind of sounds I never thought I'd need, yet I'm finding his tunes almost essentials for those moments where I want to zone out and read something, or just something to mellow me out.

Once again he churns out an album that is unforgettable in terms of quality, emotion and atmosphere, and this is an album that I listened to on repeat at least three times when I learned it was released. 10/10 Favorite track: Skin & Bone.

precisely These songs seem to tell an untold story that is different in all of our lives, and in our hearts. It's hard to put the beauty of these songs into words, but something about them gives you a sort of hope, and peace moving forward. The album is simply awe inspiring. Favorite track: Fallen (feat. Wyndham Rain Admittedly, these words reveal more about the writer of them than about the music they hope to describe. But what is Music without the Ear that perceives it and -- among vast and myriad other possibilities -- translates it into our uniquely human experience? Until I sink into the great sea of silence beyond the primogenitive OM, this Ear will serve as my gateway to God, or Self, or whatever this unfathomable Presence is ... around which these plucks and notes and beats would dance.
