FDJ (Desert Psychlist) Apodemus' jams have a start and a finish but they don't go to that finish in a straight line, their music takes the scenic route every time. Favorite track: Mechanism.
    DenpaFuzz thumbnail
DenpaFuzz A rewarding listening experience in which instrumental sounds soaked in psychedelic elements invite us on an exciting sonic journey in which beauty appears around every corner. APODEMUS knows how to play its pieces in its usual scenarios of delirious cosmic psychedelia.

    Smekermann thumbnail
Smekermann I've been listening to Apodemus since Orbital Elements, and all their releases have been great so far. That said, I feel like Monotone blows away their old material. Monk is a motorik banger in everything but the actual beat (though it's close). I really dig the way they come through for their album title - each song features a monotone rhythm, but you mostly don't notice it because the music is otherwise so dynamic.

A gem of an album, and worth all of your time. Favorite track: Monk.

𝕍 𝕚 𝕣 𝕘 𝕠 ♕ 𝕍 𝕒 𝕟 𝕕 𝕒 𝕝 I bought this double disc cd on a random whim at FYE in a Fort Collins mall back when people did those kinds of things. Both cds were just plain brass colored if I remember correctly. Had no idea how far ahead of myself I was back then. Likely put it in my discman and skated off into the sunset with 45sec anti-shock protection on before crashing into CSU campus security. The only remaining journey in trip-hip that even exists to this day. Wild. Favorite track: Bug Powder Dust (K&D Session TM).

slowroots LEAVES ME speechless Favorite track: Speechless (Drum 'n' Bass).

bloused Bought the vinyl when it first appeared many years ago. Recently, bought the 25th anniversary reissue on cd, which means I can sit back, relax and enjoy the music without having to get up every 20 or so minutes to turn the record over.. Win win Favorite track: Boogie Woogie - Kruder & Dorfmeister.
