    Unhinderedbytalent thumbnail
Unhinderedbytalent I would describe it as a very tactile listening experience overall. Jagged riffing plays across angular melodies, whilst on other occasions the more familiar tremolo takes centre stage. With a surprisingly clear production the guitars feel especially free to breathe alongside those raw vocals. My only criticism would be that the drums seem to have a diminished presence in the mix. Favorite track: Ærbødig er den som sejrer.
    grahamy thumbnail
grahamy This one is growing on me. It's melodic bm for sure, but unlike a lot of current bands that lean heavily on medieval aesthetics it's more sorrowful than triumphant. Solid Favorite track: Ærbødig er den som sejrer.

    Wallachian Throne thumbnail
Wallachian Throne For many, this is one of the stepping stones, one of the foundation bricks on which the modern Dungeon Synth fortress was founded. To this day this record is among the best the genre has to offer. The overall atmosphere, the brilliant use of brass and strings, the dark feeling that shrouds the listener... all contribute to the instant classic status of this album. And now, we;re finally getting it on vinyl! Favorite track: (Outro) The End.
    bllaaaarrggghh thumbnail

DenverMetalhead1-7-8 Unlike any death metal I've heard, too bad they split up. Best wishes in their future projects. Favorite track: Channeling Impure Apparitions.
    Ghuughra thumbnail
Ghuughra The platonic ideal of a modern deathmetal ep. Bass booms and rumbles like a motherf*cker and the drums lay waste to civilizations.

Fantastic guitar tone, threatening in the tremolos, crushing in the breaks. Generally confident and agile.

Outstanding outing by Malignant Altar. Five stars. Favorite track: Ceremonial Decapitator.
    wallbarr thumbnail
wallbarr Extremely dark, foreboding, and nihilistic death metal from Texas - A shame that they disbanded before reaching their true potential. Favorite track: Ceremonial Decapitator.

yesfan2 Slow, dark and gloomy as if giant mold ate the Earth alive. Great sound, great arrangements, great muscianship. The right amount of everything in every aspect. To my ears in this genre surprisingly colorful record. Great band deserving our attention!
