    Lovdahl, Ian thumbnail
Lovdahl, Ian My obsession with BTA started here, and it’s always a treat to revisit. All highs, no lows, and two versions of Alcoholocaust, what else do you need? Favorite track: You Will Be Reincarnated As An Imperial Attack Space Turtle.
    babysgottalocomotive thumbnail
babysgottalocomotive Like looking into the eyes of Cthulu, this album cannot be described. Even trying to will melt your brain. Insane. Favorite track: You Will Be Reincarnated As An Imperial Attack Space Turtle.
    Steve Dixon thumbnail
Steve Dixon Because sometimes a wall of sound just isn't enough. Favorite track: You Will Be Reincarnated As An Imperial Attack Space Turtle.

  2. Idiopathic Osteonecrosis of the Femoral Head
    by Impending Annihilation
    supported by
    William August thumbnail
William August This ep is very short but the crazy fast and chaotic songs make up for the short length of the album. The bass and guitars are on the same level of speed and technicality, which is because both instruments are played by Gotoh kei. The bass solo in Rapidly Destructive Coxarthtopathy is a great example of this. This album reminds me of viraemia which is one of my favorite bands, Favorite track: Rapidly Destructive Coxarthropathy.
    Turtle thumbnail
Turtle Now this is the kind of technical death metal I like! Just shred your ass off. Favorite track: Idiopathic Osteonecrosis of the Femoral Head.
    Mitch Mitcherson thumbnail
Mitch Mitcherson Pure skills here. We are talking ultra smooth, complex arpeggios and sweeps. Super evil sounding. Not a Viraemia worship band, but if you liked Viraemia you’ll like this. Performed with surgical precision. Favorite track: Idiopathic Osteonecrosis of the Femoral Head.

  3. Ontology of Nought
    by Ingurgitating_Oblivion
    supported by
    Bummer thumbnail
Bummer IO throw out such incredibly busy and distorted passages that it's damn near illegible. But their mastery is there without question. Then I'm met with the most beautiful jazzy dreamscapes I've ever heard. What a mind blowing development from Vision Wallows.
Favorite track: To weave the tapestry of nought.
    Salami Dick Death thumbnail
Salami Dick Death @dmitrynevozhay, listen again. It will reveal itself. It’s unforgettable.

Unnerving, surprising, astonishing, remarkably heavy & feral are just a few adjectives that are quite apt for the sonic revelation that is this album.

A masterpiece of artistic expression with no hyperbole necessary. Favorite track: The barren earth oozes blood, and shakes and moans, to drink her children’s gore.
    Metalcatto thumbnail
Metalcatto Probably the wildest metal album of 2024. Our review here: metaleclipsereviews.com/2024/08/07/ingurgitating-oblivion-ontology-of-nought/

Erkadur Words cannot really describe Arch Echo but I like to review things so um...here goes LOL

This is incredibly timeless for fans of progressive metal, djent, and jazz fusion. Arch Echo are pioneers in this genre and "hit the ground running" with this first album. Great stuff! <3

Every track is my favorite due to the level of detail in composition, care to production, and the overall soundstage the album presents. Incredible! :D

For fans of colorful, euphoric, and energetic "ADHD" prog. music :) Favorite track: My Head Sometimes.
    bluefalcon04 thumbnail
bluefalcon04 this whole album is absolutely loaded with creative energy and good feels. Favorite track: Hip Dipper.

    metal_maid thumbnail
metal_maid I'm not usually into this kind of music and I don't even watch the cartoons Cuphead is based on but this game and its soundtrack seriously enraptured me. I fell in love with the animation and this soundtrack. Game is incredibly fun to play too if you're into intense action games.
