Lorenzo Soul crushing and rotten death / doom metal from Poland delivering a tectonic album of bleak as hell music that still brings in subtle experimentation. Starkly rooted in the old school sound of the 90s, Chasm Of Immurement hits with a colossal heft and force at first glance, yet has some nuanced ideas that lurk beneath the surface making for an engaging debut album that is both primitive and developed at the same time.

fyeahmetal This is a platonic ideal of death metal, with a beautifully scuzzy texture that harks back to classic Earache records. The sense of timing is incredible, with finely tuned skank beats and half-time beatdowns keeping things moving I hear a lot of "God of Emptiness" in "Reign of Silence" and a Godflesh riff lurking in "Blood Divine". Not wheel reinvention, but certainly engineering of the highest quality. The record is too short...but just listen to it again. Favorite track: Monument to Dread.

positronicping Clairvoyance summon up some rabid doom-inflected death metal here. The balance of blunt force and subtle experimentation is excellent. If you're into Tomb Mold, you will dig this album deeply. Favorite track: Blood Divine.
