humanathema Y'know, as System of a Down songs go, this was one of my favorites until it got killed by the radio (and later releases surpassed it). This cover is as fresh as they come. Totally original take on an iconic nu-metal classic. Well done you musical beasts of fantastical legend. 🤘
    Michael Hodge thumbnail
Michael Hodge I think I love this more than the original. Who knew goblins held the formula all along.
    Ippocalyptica thumbnail
Ippocalyptica I do not know where to begin with this wonderful, over-the-top cover of one of System of A Down’s most popular songs. If this were your only exposure to Nekrogoblikon, you would be forgiven for thinking that they were some kind of electro-folk indie metal band (they are actually a great melodic death metal band with folk influences, occasional and mild electronic elements, and an amazing sense of humour). Regardless, this cover is refreshing, eccentric, and all-around impressive. Love it!

jimmynoshoes best nekrogoblikon release since power , secret elephant is so silly but also elegant and complex, going to be on repeat for a good while Favorite track: Secret Elephant.
    sashavonkarl74 thumbnail
sashavonkarl74 This is so silly and so much fun! The live recording makes master Goblin have a black metal screech type of vocals, I almost dig it, though it is not the usual Nekrogoblikon style, I actually really dig it :)) Favorite track: Prince of the Land of Stench (Live).

decker Insane textures in this. Dip into the haunting peace of a cyberpunk cityscape. Favorite track: The Void (City Ambience).
    JKm1990 thumbnail
JKm1990 The feeling of rain soaked streets at midnight, the last train home has already left, walking past neon billboards in a city that feels impossible. A beautiful soundtrack to build Neo Noir worlds to.
    Vegänhead thumbnail
Vegänhead A very suitable soundtrack for the cyberpunk/sandbox city building 'game' it accompanies.

RJ I’ve been a fan of these guys since this was released during my senior year in high school. While their journey has been an epic and ridiculous one, I always find myself sailing back to where it all started. This album is glorious. 8/10 Favorite track: Captain Morgan's Revenge.
