GodIsChad Satisfies my inner desire to eat solid concrete. My only complaint is that it's never loud enough Favorite track: Dog and Pony Show.

mattgraupman I know this record is regarded as a landmark noise rock album but I think it's actually pretty melodic and playful, like with the bratty get-the-last-word-in notes of "Pull The Cup." It rocks, for sure, but it's constructed in an almost jazz-like fashion, building instruments and sounds atop one another like LEGO bricks. There's an incredible amount of craft here. RIP Steve Albini. Favorite track: Dog and Pony Show.

Hang The Rich I've been Kowloon since it was a tiny unfenced village not large enough to draw on a map and I can tell you this album kicks ass. Great band to see live, too.

Balder Best discovery for a long time. Thinking a bot about Bear Claw when listening for the first time and that's just to pass a compliment. This band is in its own league, completely their own expression, now I've listened many times and I'm mesmerized. This was my first album, and I love it. Favorite track: Lampblack.

gwcon2006 Kowloon Walled City have the groove laden, catchy, punk infused and "mezmorizing" heavy music down to a science. I recommend everything from "Turk Street" on.
