Cultureplastic Signal Fire expands upon the ideas and styles introduced in Dream Weapon only does it way better. There is a though line that can be traced all the way back to Cloak of Love and Laser Bitch with this album. Signal Fire is a little more cleaned up and mature perhaps. Sine Nomine It's not the 1st time Daniel Ash reimagined his past music endeavors. He quite expertly used contemporary electronics, Stripped was my favorite example of that. But Poptone teleports you right into his sound roots for nostalgic euforia. So mesmerizing to hear these dearest to my ear songs being neatly enhanced & performed by new team, incl.
