Mark Lindhout Tear off the wallpaper, scratch your nails bloody. Crush your furniture and burn it in the middle of the room.

While playing this record, you’ll find self-destruction, pain and neurotic behavior a natural fit. Favorite track: Nayeli.

notahero123_7 this whole performance slaps but HOLY SHIT THE GUITAR SOLO ON MAGENTA MOUNTAIN HERE IS SO FUCKING GOOD HOLY SHIT SHSBDHXKSNDIDNDB Favorite track: Magenta Mountain (Live at Bonnaroo '22).
    Xtra Happy thumbnail
Xtra Happy Bonnaroo '22 has probably, hands down, the strongest start to a live album; Stu's scream clipping through the speakers like he'd just accidentally stubbed his toe and couldn't hold the pain in, followed by a barnstormer of a 'Robot Stop' that starts up like a dynamo; for me challenging even 'The Great Chain Of Being' over on London '19. Stu's flute work over the accompanying 'Hot Water' is maddening too.

Also, special shoutout to the "17rd", it's truly my favourite day during the month of Juen! Favorite track: Robot Stop (Live at Bonnaroo '22).

    caseyband thumbnail
caseyband Wow! Like a slower, dirtier, heavier version of Valiant Thorr... but fantastically unique in their own right. Enjoy! Favorite track: Reptilian Woman.

    siphr0dias "Enter the zigurat"
I can't describe even remotely accurate, how it makes me feel. Melancholy and love for everything and nothing all at the same time.
Goosebumps and tears are a common occurence during this song. Everything else looses meaning, when i listen to that song.
The album in general is an awesome piece of art. Thank you. Favorite track: Enter The Zigurat.
    rook96 thumbnail
rook96 I think Sergeant Thunderhoof can be best summed up by the transition from tracks 5 and 6. Whether a hard track or a soft transition, Sergeant Thunderhoof always take me on a journey that I love. Thanks very much. Favorite track: Enter The Zigurat.

rook96 This is one of those albums where picking a favourite song is almost impossible. Though Tree and The Serpent is incredible, the wave that Om Shaantih carries me on makes it too hard to resist as my favourite song. Thanks very much. Favorite track: Om Shaantih.
    Darknight thumbnail
Darknight Sergeant Thunderhoof style it all themselves with a killer psychedelic rock sound added with an awesome heavy groove. Awesome album artwork🤘 Favorite track: Diesel Breath.
    thunderbunny thumbnail
thunderbunny Retro rockin', toe tapper - makes me want to turn it up, every time I listen to it. Favorite track: The Tree And The Serpent.

Carsten Pieper Thanks for the Bandcamp Friday offer, guys! Hard to put down...
Quality stoner rock. I especially love the more psychedelic parts!
    rook96 thumbnail
rook96 I do love this album overall, but Foreigner is such a stand out song. If you are wondering weather Sergeant is for you, make sure to give this fantastic and heartfelt track a listen. Favorite track: Foreigner.
    Spud Sorceress thumbnail
Spud Sorceress The first release I heard from Sergeant Thunderhoof that almost didn't even catch my interest the first time around, but I'm so glad I came back. Their style is just perfect for what I want from stoner/psych, a perfect blend of sounds that come together with a magnitude greater than the components themselves, hitting emotional depths as they should. Favorite track: Absolute Blue.

zhenni Gorgeous music to immerse yourself in. It references many of the genres that made 70s music so vibrant - spiritual jazz, funk, krautrock - while being in no way derivative of any of them. Favorite track: Death Bat.
    rikhuts thumbnail
rikhuts Fell in love from the first listen. This is truly refreshing and just overall very well produced - from the visuals and Cavs' photo sesh to all of the soothing and groovy tunes. Excellent!

    tistesimeon thumbnail
tistesimeon This is a fantastic proggy death metal album and it is a shame that it is not heralded more because honestly, it represents what I would consider the peak of that sub-genre (controversial but I would say moreso than titans like BTBAM). Regardless, it is a fantastic journey. Enjoy! Favorite track: Heliacal Vessels II: In the Unity of the Lake.
    never-read-guitarworld thumbnail
never-read-guitarworld My introduction to The World Is Quiet Here was as grand and magnanimous as it remains years later and hundreds upon thousands of repeats. If there's one thing to comment on, it's the verocity of this band being magnificique! Zon captures, and holds you flawlessly, true masterpiece. Favorite track: Impetus I: Torrid Sands.
    Metal Addiction thumbnail
Metal Addiction It is a bodacious metalcore album in a flamboyant proggy and extreme outfit. The musical synthesis of prog, death and metalcore has successfully been moulded by an incredible musicianship in this sophomore effort. Favorite track: Heliacal Vessels II: In the Unity of the Lake.

lloydd Discovered this band on FDJ (Frazer) top 30 for 2021. I somehow missed this release last year. Excellent clean vocals. Twin guitars that complement each other and drums and bass that fill in and top up everything. As stated by Frazer they do remind me of Sungrazer that is a good thing. Thank You Frazer this is soooooo fuckin good. Favorite track: call.
    Brian Meade thumbnail
Brian Meade The power and the riffs of this album are incredible. Crushing psych rock. Great find!

doomcrew Restless Spirit have abandoned all N.Y. hardcore roots and replaced it with deep soulful tradional doom and nailed it.I didnt think I would like it so much but the album embodies the bands name and is truly restless with spirit🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘 Favorite track: Judgement and Exile.

pinkytheent A rip-roaring ride through the snowy peaks and the sun-baked valleys. Sparkling arpeggiations and adventurous melodic choruses and lead lines glitter over thunderous riffs that roll you over like a landslide. Permeating everything is an incredibly high-energy and absolutely unstoppable groove that will have your neck sore in no time. Hail to Restless Spirit! Favorite track: Haunted.
