Dunookie this is one of those albums that i loved even more coming back to it when i got older, still just SO GOOD Favorite track: Scatterbrain.

I bought Hail To The Thief Live when it was released a week or so back, but had nothing to compare it to, so I decided to get the studio album.
The first couple of tracks I don't really care too much for, but Sail To The Moon is excellent. After that it becomes more listenable.
For me, HTTF is two, possibly three, tracks too long. The first two and the last. Get rid of them and it would have been fine. Sometimes quality is better than quantity. Favorite track: A Punch Up at a Wedding.
    Celestine of the Stars thumbnail

thesaturnangel It's a good alteration from the original track. it gives it a new style while also keeping core parts of the og song and lowkey i prefer this one more than the original (same with willy rodriguez's cover)

    Larke G. thumbnail
Larke G. Holy hell, what a debut!! I am so enamored with this album. The soft surrealism of the lyrics and sound speaks so viscerally to the experience of existing in a world where you are an "other" - whether that's as queer / trans, alterhuman / furry, etc. In a way, the liminal atmosphere and layered symbolism remind me of I Saw the TV Glow. So looking forward to more musical artistry from fish.
    Frances Tsounis thumbnail
Frances Tsounis i need to come back and relisten more thoroughly, but this is an experience more than just music alone. an experience that touches into a vulnerable younger version that lives within you. it's going to be okay in the end, Favorite track: Seneca's hypothesis.
    metrodemise thumbnail

Rami Have you ever had a bad acid trip? Electricity throughout your body, feeling like nothing really exists, and so you stumble to the home of the person who loves you, get in their bed, they turn on a dim lamp, you put on your headphones and shift through the music library on your phone and come across "Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space" and think to yourself, that's that classic psych album. You put it on, the opening lines play, and you feel like everything will be alright? Yeah...

zobarx I couldn't resist. Even though I still have the originals, it's nice to hear these songs remastered & properly mixed, & I have to really applaud just how much Numero Group fixed River of Souls, as the Gravity release was unlistenable and sounded like someone mixed it while taking a warm bubble bath on Valium. Especially after hearing it live & how incredible it was. I do wonder why they didn't include the live at Fireside August 29th & 30th, 1995? Favorite track: DNA Timebomb.
