monolith85 Seriously, Just turn it up!! Let the kick drum pummel you while the bass gives shape to the beating.. Beautiful bass tone. Then the guitar signals your impending doom like an air raid siren. The vocals are perfect too! Droning into the cymbal wash and guitar resonance beautifully. With the perfects bits of feedback just when you need it! Awesome.

    christopher_jerome you can do nothing
against the master Favorite track: Act II.
    synthslut thumbnail
synthslut With lore-filled lyrics, fuzzy vocals of an ancient, and sludge-y, up-tempo and sometimes blues-y riffs, it's hard not to find yourself in a trance of rhythmic headbanging haze. Hard to choose a favorite, but Act II, Cup of Peace, Eyes of God, and Death Song are always good go-to grooves. Favorite track: Death Song.
    ham_bone thumbnail
ham_bone Fucked me up that Act II was in here, song made go through a glorious acid trip of some tasty tunes by some cool cats Favorite track: Act II.

Mike Williams I Soooooo wish I had known about this release in time to score one of the rare vinyl with the hand drawn covers. I'll have to settle for the stomping tune, available nowhere else. Favorite track: Act II.
    Jim W thumbnail
Jim W Dude, hand drawn covers that are parodies of other albums + mixed vinyl + good tunes. What else do you need?
    Jamie Hall thumbnail

Eric Clay An absolute gem of old school metallic hardcore. Hits just as hard now as it did then. Favorite track: PS 77.
    glazerook_ardell thumbnail
glazerook_ardell One of the very first albums I heard with harsh vocals. Fun songwriting, great energy. This era Zao was absolutely a gateway band. Favorite track: Resistance.
    xMarco Lealx thumbnail
xMarco Lealx I've been on an old school Spirit filled hardcore kick lately and one of those greats is Zao. Pre Splinter shards and remastered! Sounds so much more powerful which I didn't know was possible! I highly recommend for fans of Unashamed, Focal Point, Training For Utopia, early Hopesfall, and all early Spirit filled hardcore! Favorite track: Resistance.
    ⚰️ Gberdex ⚰️ thumbnail
⚰️ Gberdex ⚰️ I still have my original CD from 96 and this remastering sounds fuller and clearer than it ever has! Nothing even comes close to what Zao has achieved, the single greatest American Hardcore album of all time. Favorite track: In These Times Of Silence.
