Lessen i was a complete fucking idiot for thinking Kikuo’s earlier works might not measure up to his later works, holy god this slaps (I’m less than halfway through my first listen but jesus christ) (update: 26 minutes in now and have been made to laugh with delight and awe multiple times, god) (update 2: i finished my listen and all I can say is it's peak, your honor, and i'll be listening to this on loop for a while, until it's written in my soul, and then more)
