RNZ Tom and Guthrie have continued the Nashville tradition started by Chet Atkins. When 2 guitar players get together with no egos to create timeless music like. Jerry Reed and Chet Adkins , Chet Atkins and Merle Travis and Les Paul and Chet A, all from the 1970's.
This also reminds me of collaborations by John Scofield and Pat Metheny, and the great Larry Carlton with Lee Ritenour in the 90's. "In Stereo" stands up to them all and is such a breath of fresh music in 2024!
