klamath100 I know this got a lot of hype, but it is really very good. My most listened album of 2024. The mix of death metal, Krautrock, Floyd and psychedelic rock is so well done (and yeah, parts of it feel a bit like fan service to the greats, but that's ok with me). Favorite track: The Stargate [Tablet III].

Really needed those prog and melodic elements to stick me through it. Favorite track: Dragon.

Metallurgical Fire The best death metal vocalist ever. Their catalog was not my favorite at all. I liked Obituary a lot, but not as much as many other bands. Then I saw them live tonight. Elder statesmen. Death Metal kings. A truly exceptional band on stage. I would be a roadie for these guys and consider myself very lucky. They also still make great albums that compete with, and one could argue, surpass, their classic material. Favorite track: War.

donod2 This is one of the best albums I've come across this past year. I've been a fan since the first spin of The End Complete. I must have listened to this at least 10x this week. Can't wait for the tour.

Bill Shannon Superb and classic sounding Berlin School kosmische! Oddly nostalgic and familiar. Quite beautiful. A bit haunting and conjuring visions of deep space. I wish there were a little bit of Froesean guitar but tis a minor quibble as this is about as good as it gets!
