  1. GENTILESKY "Dream" LP
    by GENTILESKY

cinnamondestroyer This vinyl LP arrived faster than maybe anything else I bought in the last year or so, & if you look at my purchases you'll see I buy a lot of physical product. To me that means they care.
I should write something after I've listened to this for more than an hour, but I wanted to post something fast.
Punk rock of the wiry amelodic style. Not punk pop. Excellent lightly grating music to make your hair stand up. The aural equivalent of rubbing a cat the wrong way. In a good way.

winterkeep I don't know what it is about Thorn Wych but the music just feels right - gentle/abrasive; soothing/stirring, just perfect, should be on everyone's regular playlist to achieve oneness with the world ✌️ Favorite track: Out of the Eater Came Something to Eat.

Mason Pond Simple riffs, calm feel broken up by dissonence, anti-cruel landlord.
    A true masterpiece.

"In the morning of the first eviction,
Carried out the wishes of the landlord and his son
The furniture's out on the sidewalk next to the family
That little piggy went to market, so they're kickin' out everyone..." Favorite track: Cashout.
    ledenmere thumbnail
ledenmere One of the greatest bands of all time. My favorite Fugazi album is whichever one I’m listening to at the moment but this somber masterpiece is a fitting end.
    alfayate thumbnail
alfayate I think that's the quintessential Fugazi album, in spite of (or due to) not having any of their most known songs. When I listen to it, i think 'Yeah, that's Fugazi" from start to end. Favorite track: Full Disclosure.
