Nocturnal Egg (Jordan) Squarepusher a révélé l'existence de Dostrotime grâce à un single qu'il fallait passer dans un oscilloscope, un choix lourd de sens car c'est l'album tout entier qui suit le mouvement d'une vague et les "Arkteon" servent de transitions. C'est d'abord un raz-de-marée : l'IDM est euphorique, il croise breakcore et trance ("Wendorlan") avec des sonorités rock ("Enbound").
