    dreday thumbnail
dreday i love madlib and rhinestone cowboy is one of my all time favourite beats!! RIP MF DOOM Favorite track: Rhinestone Cowboy (Instrumental).
    RingoFlick thumbnail
RingoFlick While the original Madvillain album is a classic and influential hip-hop staple, this alternate version of the album is great if you want to hear Madlib's production without DOOM's flows. Give it an ear! Favorite track: Rhinestone Cowboy (Instrumental).

    by Nine Inch Nails

    Modern Day Mosaic thumbnail
Modern Day Mosaic A masterpiece plain and simple. It still amazes me that these tunes from the tail end of the 80's, could be so important and influential even today. Taking the brutal, pounding industrial influence of Skinny Puppy and Ministry, wrapping it in pop song structures with some added sexy flair... There's a reason why Trent Reznor is on the mainstage of industrial music and in the record collections of many around the world. Favorite track: Terrible Lie.
    Dalton thumbnail
Dalton I have literally many copies of this album. Never enough. Was time for a digital copy Favorite track: Sin.
    apocalypsedud thumbnail
apocalypsedud It took me a REALLY long freaking time to get used to this album, and to get into the songs outside of the big hits. But the progression was worth all those listens over the years. What else can I say? It's a masterpiece. The remaster is a nice effort that breathes some new life into a classic that didn't need it. Favorite track: Ringfinger.

    PabstBlueRibbonOysterCult thumbnail
PabstBlueRibbonOysterCult Great crossover hardcore/thrash album, but that Decendents cover is sooo damn good. Favorite track: Good Good Things.
    dcdirkzwager thumbnail
dcdirkzwager Living Proof offers more of the same (which is a good thing in this case), but also shows a band that is not afraid to experiment. The best examples are "Intermission," with its hip-hop opening changing to a hardcore song midway through. Or “Good Good Things,” a Descendents cover that shows a completely different side of Drain.
    n804 thumbnail
n804 This whole album shreds. It's crunchy, choppy, solid as fuck and heavy. Favorite track: Watch You Burn.

Tell Ya Fucking Story Walking… 😝🤙🏻
Fuck this is good. All new to me which brings it more excitement and enjoyment.
Those drums and guitar synchronise so well together it’s just fucking a ‘pick me first and play’ mood changer.

The beginning guitar riffs from track 3 were used in the movie Spun? I seem to recall? Somehow? Similar chords as Negative Creep.

    Fucking love it. 🤙🏻

    mikelewatt_ thumbnail
mikelewatt_ Holy SHIT, I can't believe I discovered this album for the first time in 2026, almost 20 years after its release. Just beautiful from start to finish, I have to admit I could have a preference for Child Protective Services Theme Song because I used to watch Pewdiepie as a kid. Something I am not proud of. Favorite track: Child Protective Services Theme Song.

phmao Played this album for my kids all the time while they were growing up. At some point I lost the CD. Happy to have it back in the modern way of music consumption. Favorite track: The Call of the Wreckin' Ball.
    grchereck thumbnail
grchereck As a fan of both country music and the LA punk-roots legends X, it warms my heart to hear John & Exene's signature harmonies in the context of classic country and folk sounds. Delightful! Favorite track: Rock Island Line.
    Papa Jay (Radio Smorgasbord) thumbnail

Very glad to see yer still playing together and making great music Favorite track: Under The Big Black Sun.
    Thornswrath thumbnail
Thornswrath Are you kidding me?! I got into X around '82 when I was in high school, my boss at Davey's Locker record store made me a 90 min TDK high bias recording of X, Wild Gift, and Under the Big Black Sun, this is one of the greatest American roots albums ever made ~;^\~ \m/ Favorite track: The Hungry Wolf.
    Madjack32 thumbnail
Madjack32 great song about sadness of losing her sister Favorite track: Come Back To Me.
