profound Nicest release, doing the Dilla Legacy justice and I specifically love how the verses are written, performed and mixed... the texture of reverbs on vocals in context with the textury beats :) Favorite track: Love 2 da Fam.

    int? is resting thumbnail
int? is resting One of the - if not the biggest staple of Experimental Hip-Hop, made in a time where bringing something experimental to the hip-hop crowd required tons of bravery. A true visionary of a producer, and he raps too! 🐏 Favorite track: Blood.
    love_horses thumbnail
love_horses Absolute classic album - the production is so gritty, the snares CRACK Favorite track: Accidents Don't Happen.
    Mount_Mourn thumbnail
Mount_Mourn Avant garde hip hop masterpiece Favorite track: Dr. Helino & The Praying Mantus.

    Smojphace thumbnail
Smojphace 2/3 of my favourite Filthy Animals proving once again they control the Shai Hulud of hip hop earworms. SQs laid back instrumentals laden with rich wordplay from Swell and friends take us on a journey through today's NY underground. The DNA of the Golden Era runs deep throughout, whilst maintaining a freshness to keep you coming back for more. Hard to pick a favourite, but Floating Over the City provides an epic soundscape to get lost in. Favorite track: Floating Over the City (feat. NAHreally & Marcus Pinn).
    Garfunkle thumbnail
Garfunkle SQ put together an incredible set of beats and Rapswell (and all the features) don't disappoint. Alan Watts with a (much) better flow. Highly recommended. Favorite track: Steampunk! (feat. Dood Computer).

kgv Loving it. Great to hear John Cage getting a namecheck :-)

    neonhighwaysynth thumbnail
neonhighwaysynth What an absolute powerhouse of synth music. A masterclass in production. Here’s an artist that can write a great track, deliver a hook, tie you up in gorgeous guitar licks, and immerse you in other worlds you didn’t know could exist. I love this album. It captures Aisle9 on a roll. It’s not just synth music, it’s a distillation of all music from the past 60 years. Harmonic journeys and melodies full of excitement and intrigue. I’m in awe of this incredible talent. Favorite track: Other Worlds.
    blackarachnyia thumbnail
blackarachnyia I love the entire ocean vibe of the album. I love all the songs, but my most favorite are Other Worlds and Leviathan. The entire album is on repeat. I just can't get enough. Thank you for sharing this outstanding album, Tim! I can't wait to listen to new songs from you!

Scott F. Hamrick Subtle, introspective and unpretentious electronic music that casts a wistful glance toward the VHS era while maintaining an optimistic outlook on the present. Mark II is perfect music for beginning or ending the day. Favorite track: 16-bit memory.
