alexzito as an expression of the poetics of this moment, the unease in this work is comfortable and welcoming to me. it gives breathing room.
I'd love to read the limpet in any form it comes forward.
    grateful 🙏
    Peter Knight thumbnail
Peter Knight A distinctive, focussed proposition… beautiful work
    Harrison Phinney thumbnail
Harrison Phinney this piece in particular resonates with me, a vaguely menacing room-tone for imagined space. overall this release is diaphonous, utterly ambient, in that its effects will depend entirely upon the listener’s set and setting. chartier fans should feel right at home.

also, I look fwd to reading the story of ‘The Limpet’ someday, as it sounds like a fascinating premise for a poetic work of sf. Favorite track: Something About The Way You Film Me.

A fitting swan song, sucks that it's over, but things end.

Probably among the strongest releases in a storied discography, but they were definitely entering the 'iterate on albums you've already released' phase of the metal band life-cycle.

Respect for going out on a high note. Instead of releasing 6-ish albums that all wish they were Annihilation of the Wicked, but aren't quite. (iykyk) Favorite track: Symptom of Terminal Illness.
    Queefer Sutherland thumbnail
Queefer Sutherland Each DEP album bring back alot of different memories..this one brings alot of dark but amazing ones too. I had the privilige of seeing them twice on their farewell tour, one being kind of a surprise gig at a tiny club in Boston. DEP opened up a whole world of music to me that i didnt know i needed. Time has passed and i stand by what i said when it came out. This is their best album. I feel bad for anyone that became a fan after this, too late to experience seeing them live. Favorite track: Surrogate.
    THE GREAT CORNHOLIO thumbnail
THE GREAT CORNHOLIO I was jamming this album in the car when I went to get fast food the other day and as I was sat in the nearly empty parking lot eating alone an old couple just had to fucking park right next to me so I cranked it and rolled my windows down and screamed along inbetween bites and they stayed until they were done and I think they liked it 9/10 Favorite track: Manufacturing Discontent.
