knightd68 This is simply fucking superb. The demo versions are easily as good to listen to as the ones that later appeared. This is a lovely little extra to the album proper.

Carsten Pieper Compiling a playlist in preparation of this year's Orange Blossom Special Festival, 28th of its name. Still by far the most formidable festival I know! An eclectic program between folk, rock, post-punk and what have you and an incredibly friendly atmosphere.

In other words: Wer Pfingsten noch frei hat, hingehen! An der Weser in Beverungen sind noch Plätze frei!

Back to the album: Fascinating mix of alt folk and a kind of soul. Great songs and voice! Favorite track: Purple and Brown.

Kirk Gauthier If it’s been said once, it’s been said a thousand times: “I love his songs, but I just can’t stand Bob Dylan’s voice!”. My brother in Christ, people have been covering his songs since the ‘60s, and all of them—ALL OF THEM—have better singing voices. But what we have here is Bob Dylan songs sung by an angel. Emma Swift’s voice is rich, lush, and absolutely gorgeous, and the love and care she takes in these performances can be both heard and felt. Every ounce of this album is sheer perfection. Favorite track: One of Us Must Know (Sooner or Later).

mstipe Great renditions with a fantastic voice from the huge catalogue of His Bobness; successor highly expected! Favorite track: One of Us Must Know (Sooner or Later).
    Frank Hill thumbnail
Frank Hill I love listening to Emma Swift's renderings of these songs. Her voice is mesmerizing and her interpretations add new dimensions to these mostly well-worn tracks. Well done! Thank you, Emma! Favorite track: You're A Big Girl Now.
