DuraChelle 2.0 Just the fact that a song called Hot Ghee could be so awesome makes me love it. I was lucky to see Night Beats perform in Austin last year, and I felt like the music was even better in person. Favorite track: Hot Ghee.

josefus What an epic effort, Buben! I recommend strongly listening to this album in its entirety. A musically, lyrically and emotionally ultra strong output that fits perfectly with their previous works.
Doom has risen. Favorite track: The Sands.

    J Ringsak thumbnail
J Ringsak This is a West African gem that covers a lot of ground, from upbeat dance to more soulful, mellower grooves. Superior horn parts, particularly trumpet, as shimmering guitar that has some traces of chicha and cumbia style. Through it all, José's voice propels each track, passion soaking every note. Love this record.

58th-septa I am grateful to The Last of Us Part II for leading me to this band. Great music for sicking zombies on some of the worst humans in that post-apocalyptic world, or for doing pretty much anything in this one. Favorite track: Young Men Dead.
    Chromatic Dracula thumbnail
Chromatic Dracula Revisited this album for years and it hits harder and harder with every play. Loving the influences (slight tastes of the yesteryear but recovered from an acid soaked, torn and frayed flag used as a cape.) Favorite track: Call to Arms.
    Devin Metz thumbnail
Devin Metz A youthful recklessness breathes through this album. Favorite track: The Prodigal Sun.

    DAS VILLAIN thumbnail
DAS VILLAIN I was aware of The Black Keys, but never took the time to listen to them...until now. I love the blues rock/blues punk/indie rock/cowpunk/garage band aesthetic! The duo pays homage to legendary blues artists (of old), but also drays inspiration from hip hop and rockabilly with a modernist twist. Yet, their stunning debut release is all about the blues and traditional rock 'n roll where rock music isn't dead, yet, but going back to the basics and true intent: rebellion against the establishment. Favorite track: Run Me Down.
